Corn

Corn

Sophia and Evan came over for dinner, and she couldn’t stop asking her dad for some corn that was on his plate. After a few failed attempts to steal daddy’s corn off his plate, Sophia got her own ear of corn and the rest is on video.

Pictures now show the comments at the bottom, as well as, a minor theme change because of some errors that I couldn’t fix.

I hope it’s a little simpler and cleaner to view.

5am wake up call

Posted by admin in Update

Evan woke up yesterday at 5am crying in pain. He was given Tylenol, but the pain soon returned. After visiting one of the hospitals in San Diego, UCLA made it apparent that they wanted Evan to come up there for observation. The only thing that worries me personally is that none of his test’s in San Diego showed anything!?!

He has a reoccurring 103 degree fever, which isn’t good for someone that had an organ transplant. So for now, Ma and Pa are at UCLA with Evan and the rest of us are taking turns watching Evan’s little sister Sophia, till we get some new’s this morning after rounds are done.

I feel for Evan, and there’s good reason for that! But also the fact that I do not miss hospitals one bit, the smell, lighting, and dampness. But UCLA was a great hospital, and the staff are awesome (especially the children’s floor, they have some cute girls!).

Now for some sleep!

Squealing Evan

Posted by admin in Video

While babysitting a neighbors dog we found out that Evan likes to squeal quite loudly and chase the dog around the yard. Kinda cute the two of them chasing each other. Chloe the little puppy is a lot faster than Evan and can usually make three circles around him before he’s caught up to her!

It was a evening to go to the park and listen to the bands play music and have the kids run around, but it was canceled due to some bird being infected with the bird flu! yikes, so instead we camped out on the front lawn and made the best of it!

Days …

Posted by admin in Update

Sorry it’s been such a long time since an update on the little guy, I’ve been dealing with school and trying to wrap that loose end up.

Evan has gotten over the infection that he got. Also he’s able to sing along with the Twinkle Twinkle little star with some hand movements which is sweet. He knows how you identify your noes and eyes if you ask him. In all he is making some good progress, lets just hope the hospital visits are at a minimum from now on.

When I get a chance I will post some new images and video of the little guy.
